CONTEMPORARY & LYRICAL

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements

JUNIOR LYRICAL: Suitable for students who have achieved Grade 3 ballet or are aged 8 -12 years old.

SENIOR CONTEMPORARY: Ages 12+ Open to students with a ballet background of Grade 5 or higher, or previous Contemporary experience.

ADVANCED CONTEMPORARY: Ages 14+ Open to students with an established Contemporary background and/or Grade 5 Ballet or above experience.

CONTEMPORARY TROUPE : Invitational class

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

Black and/or white leotard, tights, t-shirt, shorts. Ballet flats or toe thongs.
